On April 8, 2015 the Town of North Castle adopted Local Law 4 of 2015 which requires fuel tanks to comply with generator location and screening requirements. Among other things, the fuel tanks must comply with the setbacks applicable to accessory structures. In the front yard the fuel tank would need to be located at least three times the minimum setback for principal buildings. A copy of the law is available online:
